lizardSo I recently summoned a lesser daemon from a plane of pure malice and torment. He wouldn’t tell me his real name, so I called him squinky. He’s a tiny little rascal, not three feet tall with the most adoriable little wings and fangs. The kind of cute that you just want to bludgeon it to death with a solid two-by-four. Pikachu cute. Plus the little fucker shat everywhere and tried to eat the cat. So I didn’t keep him around for long.

lizardIt’s SOCAN week at CJSR, and that means it’s time we pull out all our Canadian content we’ve accumulated over the years and play it so that our young artists can get a nice cheque for $10 or something like that. Regardless, my collection of Canadian rock is becoming legendary.

lizardThis week a devoted fan-band was kind enough to deliver some cds and vinyl to CJSR World Domination headquarters – the band was Hidden Towers, and they will be playing at Wunderbar on January 19th – somewhat time sensitive, I know, but it’s good to switch things up every so often, no?

Bands that follow their example will of course receive equally groovy honours.

Giant Lizards shall soon rule the Earth – February 7th, 8th and 22nd, 2012

Wow, what a couple of weeks. First, there was the dramatic shift in human consciousness that caused my rock and roll nightmare to be heard from 2-3pm Wednesdays from now on, and then a small chunk of my empire decided to have a revolution. So here’s the month’s podcasts in one easy to find post.

I’ve also come to the discovery that because of that idiotic SOPA legislation, one of my file hosting sites jettisoned all their hosted files, which included a sizable chunk of my podcasts. I have some droogs working on it.
